About Parul Institute of Law
Parul Institute of Law, Parul University, Vadodara is duly approved by the Bar Council of India and is a member of the International Association of Law Schools, New York. It offers Five Year Integrated courses of B.A.LL.B, B.Com.LL.B, B.B.A.LL.B, and Three Year LL.B course. Under the Centre for Post-Graduation Legal Studies (CPGLS), the Institute offers One Year LL.M Program in eight specializations of Intellectual Property Law, Criminal and Security Laws, International Law, Public Policy and Governance, Environmental Law and International Human Rights Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Constitutional and Administrative Law. The Institute also offers M.Phil and Ph.D. programs. The Institute has a team of highly qualified and experienced teaching faculties, State of Art infrastructure.

Law as a career path has always been known for its dynamic nature. This comes from the fact that law is ever-evolving. However, not only the substantial aspect of the law is a very dynamic one, but also the additional skills required to be successful in this field are dynamic. Apart from possessing the hard skills of the subject, there are certain soft skills and techniques which are absolutely essential for a law professional to be successful and have longevity. This course particularly caters to enhance such soft skills, which are as important as the plain knowledge of the subject, to be a successful law professional. The particular skill sets required for various career options in the broad domain of law shall be developed.

About the Resource Person
Mr. Faiz Ayat Ansari is an Assistant Professor of Law and Coordinator, Centre for Constitutional Law and Policy (CCLP) at Parul Institute of Law, Parul University, Vadodara, Ph.D. Research Scholar at the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, and a Researcher and Collaborator at the Mediterranea International Centre for Human Rights Research, Italy. He is also an alumnus of Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, where he pursued his LL.M. in Constitutional and Administrative Law. He has also been a recipient of the prestigious Dr. J.K. Patel Memorial Award for exceptional academic and research performance for 2021. He has been a member of the Legal Education Awareness Foundation, New Delhi, and has been invited to deliver guest lectures at prestigious international institutions like the Mediterranea International Centre for Human Rights Research, Italy, and the Tashkent State University of Law, Uzbekistan. He has a keen interest in bridging the gap between academia, policymaking, and the industry in the legal field. His areas of interest include Constitutional law, Comparative Public Law, Media law, etc. He has previously co-authored a book titled ‘Law and Justice in the Era of Globalization and co-edited books on ‘International Law and Contemporary Framework’ and ‘The Concepts of International Law’.

Program Schedule Details
- The program shall commence in the last week of September, 2021.
- There shall be one-hour online sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 7 pm to 8 pm over a period of three months.
- Detailed schedule shall be communicated to the participants before the commencement of the program.
- Evaluation shall be based on online exams and assignments.
- Last date for registration: 20th September, 2021
