The School of Legal Studies offers graduate and post-graduate programs with the objective of preparing law professionals, with a sound understanding of the foundations of legal knowledge. The school offers B.A., LL. B (Hons.), B.B.A, LL. B (Hons.) of five-year duration and one-year LLM in Business & Corporate Law and Criminal Law. The school also undertakes various consultancy projects. Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure including Moot Court Hall, Legal Aid Clinic, library with a variety of print and online resources. The school focuses on the advancement and dissemination of knowledge of the law and legal processes in the context of national development. The school in addition to its well-experienced and qualified law faculty members invites regularly practicing lawyers and legal luminaries as adjunct faculty, guest faculty members to facilitate practical exposure to the students.

Objectives of the Conference

  • To explore the various aspects of cryptocurrency along with a with-its regulatory framework for its effective governance.
  • To promote an exchange of tested ideas about Cryptocurrencies, the Bitcoin mania, and beyond.
  • To clarify basic concepts of cryptocurrency and to understand the global response to evolving Crypto the economy.
  • To provide a platform of opportunities for participants to share ideas with renowned leaders, seasoned businesspeople and academics, industry titans, and development partners to establish global partnerships for future business, research, and project collaborations.

Submission Guidelines

Abstract

The abstract shall not exceed 300 words and must be accompanied by a cover page, stating the
following:

  • Title of the Paper and Sub – Theme
  • Name of the Author(s)
  • Name of the Institution
  • E-mail Address and Contact number
  • Postal Address

Paper

  • The paper must be accompanied with the following details: A cover letter mentioning the Name of the Author(s), Course, Year of Study (if applicable), Name of the College/University (if applicable), Professional Position (if applicable), with Postal Address, Email Address and Contact Number.
  • The abstract and the full papers to be sent at nationalconference_2022@reva.edu.in

Note

  • Co-authorship is permitted to a maximum of two authors and at least one author must attend the seminar to present the paper.
  • No Proxy presentations are allowed.
  • The abstract/paper will be subject to rejection if found plagiarized.

Formatting Requirements

  • The main text should be in Times New Roman with font size 12 and line spacing of 1.5.
  • The footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10 with a spacing of 1.0
  • One-inch margins should be maintained on all four sides
  • Citation Style: Latest Bluebook (20th Edition)/APA style of citation
  • The maximum length of the paper shall not exceed 3500 words, (excluding foot notes/end notes/annexure/reports etc.)
  • All abstract/full paper submissions are to be made in Microsoft Word (.doc).

Registration Fee

  • For Students/ Research Scholars: Rs.500/-for single authorship and Rs.800/- for co-authorship
  • Academicians and Professionals: Rs.1000/- for Single authorship and Rs.1400/- for co-authorship.

Publication

  • Selected Papers will be published in a Journal with ISSN No published by School of Legal Studies, REVA University.
  • A publication charge of Rs. 1000/- will be charged at a later stage after selection of the paper.
  • All accepted abstracts will be published as a conference proceeding with “ISBN No.” by School of Legal Studies, REVA University.

Submission of the full paper would be presumed as unconditional consent of the author/s for a possible publication by the organizers.

Other Important Information

The participants will receive a participation certificate, and the Researchers who present their papers will receive a presentation Certificate. The fee paid is not refundable under any circumstance. The selection of the Abstract/Full paper is reserved by the organizers of the seminar. The certificate would be issued to only those participants who attend all sessions. The organizers reserve the right to postpone or change the venue/ date/ time of the Conference, without prior notice before the deadline, if necessary.

The top 2 presenters will receive a certificate of appreciation.
