About the Position
They are looking for a dynamic individual to undertake critical research at the intersection of the clean energy transition, labor governance, and the environment. The focus shall be on the arena of transition in the electricity generation sector. The candidate shall be working to foster coalitions for inclusive policy action, engage relevant institutions and agencies, and actively facilitate voices for Just Transition.
Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to guide programs to facilitate participative, inclusive, and just energy transition.
- Deepen critical understanding of labor and environment governance.
- Foster coalitions to facilitate inclusive dialogues and collective action on energy transition challenges.
- Facilitate critical research and legal analysis in the domain of labor and environment governance.
- Engage relevant institutions and agencies.
- Manage documentation, research, and publications.
- Manage webinars and support and mentor teams.
- Provide functional leadership to various initiatives and projects.
- Represent the organization on appropriate platforms.
Eligibility Criteria
Preferred Qualifications
A degree in Law with experience in representing labor issues in the court of law and engaging with worker groups on the ground.
Preferred Skills
- Should have a sound understanding of the Indian Constitution, the Rule of Law, and the mechanics of Governance.
- Reasoning and analytical ability; Strong conceptual skills.
- Excellent writing, editing, and publishing skills, along with the ability to articulate multi-dimensional narratives in a simple manner.
- Ability to foster consistent meaningful engagement with key stakeholders.
- High level of maturity and strong interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of the energy sector and climate change paradigms.
- Leadership skills to support cross-functional teams.
Work Experience
Minimum 3-5 years in the related subject.
Salary
7 – 12 LPA CTC (Only TDS deduction applicable).
Note: Higher remuneration may be considered for exceptional candidates.
