About the Organisation
The Internet Freedom Foundation (IFF) is an Indian non-profit organization born out of the SaveTheInternet.in movement – where over a million Indians mobilized to take action in defense of free and open internet.
They come from all over India, and from different backgrounds and fields, including technology, law, policy, design, and journalism. We aim to promote the rights of Internet users – including freedom of speech, privacy, net neutrality, and freedom to innovate.
About the Opportunity
We work with interns from a wide range of domains and interests, based on our capacity and need at the moment. Your skills and experience don’t have to be restricted to the fields of technology, policy, or law, to intern with our vibrant and hard-working team. We offer internships to one of two tracks:
- Policy and law: Work with IFF staff on a variety of policy and legal projects.
- Civic literacy and advocacy: Work with IFF staff to bridge the gap between public and policy.
Policy Intern: Applications are open. To view the job description and submit your candidature, please apply here.
Any applications without a cover letter, which includes a statement explaining their interest in digital rights, will be summarily rejected. All internship positions are based out of our office in New Delhi. All internships come with a stipend.
Internet Freedom Foundation is an equal-opportunity employer and welcomes a diverse candidate pool. We recognise equal representation as an asset essential to accomplishing our mission.
