Role overview
The role sits within Wipro’s Global Disputes and Litigation team and spans end-to-end dispute management from pre-dispute notices through trial/arbitration and appeal, covering IT project disputes, government contracts, land/real estate, and regulatory matters in India.
Responsibilities include compiling case files and evidence, drafting and finalizing pleadings and court documents, coordinating hearings and arbitrations, maintaining litigation databases, and supervising outside counsel and senior advocate briefings.
Required profile
- Education: LL.B.; strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience: 4–5 years’ commercial litigation; minimum 3 years with a law firm; preference for top-tier firm exposure and 1 year in an MNC legal team.
- Forums: Hands-on litigation before Karnataka High Court, district courts, NCLT/NCLAT, and other tribunals; proven experience with commercial arbitration.

- Manage multiple matters under pressure and conduct fact investigations and responses to pre-dispute letters.
- Deliver succinct, practical legal advice and perform work in-house where possible while enforcing outside counsel guidelines.
- Travel across India to attend proceedings and align litigation strategy with business leaders and domain experts.
