Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related discipline is essential.
- A Master’s degree in Law is highly desirable.
- Additional certifications or qualifications in Data Protection, Privacy Law, or Cybersecurity are preferred.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a techno-legal role with demonstrated expertise in data protection, privacy compliance, or digital transformation projects.
- Technical and Legal Expertise:
- Comprehensive understanding of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Strong capability in interpreting complex legal texts and applying them to real-world scenarios.
- Familiarity with international standards and practices in data privacy and cybersecurity.
- Additional Competencies:
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
