The Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), located in the S-Block of the Delhi High Court, is inviting online applications from qualified Indian nationals for the position of Law Researcher. This is a contractual engagement offering a dynamic opportunity to work at the forefront of arbitration and legal research in India.
📌 Position Details
- Post Name: Law Researcher (LR)
- Number of Vacancies: 03 (Three)
- Remuneration: ₹65,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Engagement Type: Contractual (Initial term of 6 months, extendable up to 3 years)

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- Enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961 with minimum 2 years of professional experience as on 01.07.2025.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Diploma/LL.M. in Arbitration Law, Commercial Law, or Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
- Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
- Familiarity with legal research tools like Manupatra, SCC Online, Westlaw, etc.
Age Limit:
- Not above 27 years as on 01.07.2025.
📄 Terms of Engagement
- Purely contractual; does not confer right to permanent employment.
- Engagement can be terminated without prior notice.
- Law Researchers must not accept any other assignment or be engaged elsewhere during their tenure.

🚫 Disqualification Conditions
Applicants will be disqualified if:
- Engaged elsewhere (including voluntary/honorarium roles).
- Involved in any criminal case (pending or convicted).
- Facing any disciplinary action with any Bar Council.
📜 Declaration & Conduct Requirements
Selected candidates must:
- Abide by DIAC’s internal rules, especially Rule 9 of the DIAC (Internal Management) Rules, 2012.
- Submit a declaration confirming eligibility and impartiality.
- Maintain strict confidentiality, high moral standards, and professional decorum during and after engagement.
