Role overview

Eligibility criteria

  • Education: LL.B. degree.​

  • Language and fitness: Proficiency in Odia (reading and writing) is mandatory; candidates should be physically fit and willing to work in challenging terrain/weather conditions within the Division.​

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare OR/UD/PR case records and assist in drafting and vetting documents for prosecutions and confiscations in forest and wildlife cases.​
  • Appear/coordinate matters before SDJM Kuchinda, SDJM Redhakhol, District Court Sambalpur, and High Court of Orissa at Cuttack; liaise with PCCF (Wildlife) and HoFF offices as required.​
  • Assist Authorized Officer and Inquiry Officers, maintain confidentiality of official data, and ensure adherence to office discipline and timelines.​

Work hours and leave

  • Regular office hours with flexibility to work beyond duty hours or on holidays as case exigencies demand.​
  • Leave: 11 days casual leave per year, subject to prior approval and work requirements.​
