Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation (OMFED) has opened applications for 1 Manager (HR) position on a contractual basis, offering a remuneration of ₹1,32,000 CTC, with submissions due by 20 January 2026.

Organisation Overview

OMFED, a state apex cooperative under the Odisha government, manages dairy production, processing, and marketing across the state, supporting milk unions and farmers through plants, cattle feed units, and distribution networks. The Manager (HR) will lead personnel administration, industrial relations, and HR strategy at corporate and plant levels, reporting to the Managing Director.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Eligibility targets mid-senior HR professionals with operational depth:

• Graduate with good academic record from a recognized university.
• Desirable: Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Personnel Management/HRM/IR or MBA (HR).
• Added advantage: Degree in Law/Labour Law; SAP/ERP exposure.

Experience mandates:

• 5-10 years post-qualification in relevant HR functions.
• Last 3 years in managerial capacity handling HR/Personnel/IR in a reputed organization.
• Proven exposure to full HR/IR cycle at corporate and plant/operations levels.

Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses strategic and operational HR leadership:​

• Formulating HR policies, systems, and strategies for productivity, quality, and compliance.
• Managing employee relations, engagement, payroll, recruitment, and performance appraisals.
• Overseeing statutory compliance, MIS reporting, and general administration.
• Handling industrial relations, safety measures, and coordination with unions/government bodies.
• Driving retention, training, and organizational development across OMFED unit
