National Law University Odisha invites application for the post of Project Fellow (Law), Project Fellows (Social Work), and Office Manager on contractual basis for its Prison Advocacy Project supported by a grant from the Azim Premji Foundation for providing Quality Legal Aid to undertrials for timely bail and release in four chosen prisons of Odisha namely Choudwar Circle Jail, Bhubaneswar Special Jail, Khurda District Jail and Banki Sub-Jail.

Essential Qualification and Experience
Project Fellow (Law)
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized institute.
- Minimum of three-year experience of criminal law practice at trial court level.
- Registration as a practicing advocate with Bar Council of any state in India.
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking Odia.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Familiarity with the use of MS-Office, emails and the internet.
- Prior work experience in work with the District Legal Services Authority is desirable.
Project Fellow (Social Work)
- Post-Graduate in Social Work/Social Science/ Sociology or any allied subject preferably with experience in field work from a Central/Deemed/State-Recognised University.
- Minimum of two-years of experience in intervention work at the field level is desirable.
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking Odia.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Familiarity with the use of MS-Office, emails and the usage of internet.
Office Manager
- Graduate with 1st Class from a recognized institute.
- Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking Odia.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Familiarity with the use of MS-Office, emails and the internet.
