Key responsibilities

  • Litigation portfolio
    • Handle consumer, civil, criminal, quasi‑criminal cases and writ petitions across forums; draft/review pleadings, evidence, written arguments, and applications; brief and coordinate with external counsel; represent to safeguard company interests.
  • Regulatory advisory and research
    • Provide risk‑based legal advisory across business units; respond to show‑cause notices and regulator correspondence; track legal developments and translate into guidance.
  • HR legal and labour
    • Review employment contracts; manage labour notices/complaints and disputes; provide daily counsel on employee‑related matters.
  • Intellectual property
    • Manage the IP portfolio; coordinate with firms on filings and prosecution.
  • Airline unruly passenger complaints
    • Anchor the committee for unruly pax matters; coordinate timely, policy‑compliant closure in line with aviation regulations and internal SOPs.
  • Commercial contracts
    • Draft, review, and negotiate office space agreements at airports, MSAs, NDAs, vendor and sales/distribution contracts, and other business agreements.
  • SOPs and process excellence
    • Create and continuously improve legal SOPs, manuals, and checklists to standardize processes and controls.

Ideal candidate profile

  • Court‑facing and advisory blend, able to prioritize and drive outcomes across consumer/civil/criminal/writ and labour forums.
  • Strong commercial drafting/negotiation skills for complex, multi‑party agreements in aviation and allied services.
  • Familiarity with aviation regulatory landscape for unruly passenger handling and airport commercial arrangements; collaborative stakeholder management.

  • Reduced litigation cycle time with consistent, high‑quality pleadings and favorable interim/final outcomes; robust counsel governance.
  • Proactive regulatory responses and policy updates that mitigate enforcement risk; comprehensive, current SOPs.
