Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must be fresh law graduates or postgraduates from a university/college recognised by the Bar Council of India.
• Final-year students are also eligible:
  • Those in the 5th year of a 5-year integrated law course, or
  • Those in the final year of a 3-year LL.B. course.
  • However, their selection is conditional upon passing the final year examination before engagement.

Academic Performance

• Applicants must have cleared all examinations in the first attempt.
• A minimum of 60% aggregate marks across all examinations is mandatory.

Additional Preferences & Conditions

• Computer familiarity is preferred and will be considered during selection.
• Candidates pursuing postgraduate degrees or other programmes requiring compulsory attendance are not eligible.

Recommendation Requirement

• If the applicant is a practising lawyer, the application must be recommended by a designated Senior Advocate.
• If the applicant is not a lawyer, the recommendation must come from the Head of the last law school/college/university attended.
