About the Organization
IREL (India) Limited, the erstwhile Indian Rare Earths Limited was incorporated on August 18, 1950, with its first unit Rare Earths Division (RED), Aluva, in Kerala. It became a full-fledged Government of India Undertaking under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) in the year 1963 and took over companies engaged in mining and separation of Atomic Minerals in the southern part of the country at Chavara, Kerala and the other at Manavalakurichi (MK), Tamil Nadu.
Presently IREL has established a plant capacity of about 6 lakhs tons per annum of minerals processing to produce processed minerals i.e. Ilmenite, Rutile, Zircon, Sillimanite and Garnet. IREL has also set up a Rare Earths Extraction Plant in Odisha to produce about 11,000-ton Rare Earth Concentrate in terms of RE Chloride and associated products.

Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate shall have the following scope of work:
- Litigation Management, Regulatory Compliances
- Preparation of draft replies, Representation in court cases, assistance in implementing legal risk & compliance policy of the company
- Prepare and vet legal agreements, Contract deeds, MoUs and Documents, Pleading papers, Dealing with advocates/ lawyers, Industrial Relations
- Compliance with statutory requirements, Contract Labour Management etc.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications: Graduation in Law (LLB) (3 years duration) or it’s equivalent.
- Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 9 years of post-qualification experience in dealing with issues pertaining to Contract Management, Arbitration &conciliation, Mines and Minerals, land acquisition, environment laws, civil & labour matters in the legal department of Govt./ PSU/Industrial Organization / Law Firm.
- Another Essential Requirement: Knowledge of working in an automated environment and proficiency in office automation tools is essential.
- Upper Age Limit: 42 Years
