The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (Deemed to be University) has invited applications for engagement of one Legal Officer on contract basis at its New Delhi campus (Advertisement No. NT/Con./Del./17/2026). Eligibility
Candidates must hold an LLB degree with post-graduation (55% marks or equivalent CGPA). They must have extensive experience handling legal matters — including service laws, labour laws and codes, land laws, legal drafting and vetting of documents, and liaison with government offices and statutory authorities — in government organisations, government undertakings, PSUs, Central or State Government offices, autonomous bodies, universities or educational institutions, with a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar position in a higher educational institute or institute of repute. Candidates must have an excellent command over English (Hindi proficiency preferred) and working knowledge of computer applications and packages. Experience as a Senior Legal Associate or Legal Associate in large-scale industries, law firms, PSUs or similar autonomous institutions of higher education is desirable.
