Oil Green Energy Limited Recruitment 2026: Apply for Seven Contractual Positions
Oil Green Energy Limited (OGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Oil India Limited, has invited applications for seven contractual positions under Advertisement No. OGEL/AQ/CONT-EX-01 dated 13 August 2026. The engagement is intended to meet immediate manpower requirements and is purely temporary in nature.
Eligible Indian nationals can apply for positions including Finance Officer, Legal Officer, Contract and Procurement Officer, Executive Officer to CEO, Civil Engineer and Company Secretary. The notification states that the total contract emoluments comprise fixed and variable components. Contractual personnel may also be eligible for TA/DA, lodging and incidental expenses for the actual number of days worked outside their place of posting, subject to OGEL’s applicable policy.
Eligibility Conditions
The common age requirement for all posts is:

Finance Officer
OGEL is seeking one Finance Officer with any of the following qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant, or
- Cost and Management Accountant, or
- MBA in Finance from a government-recognised university or institute.
The candidate must have more than three years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, audit or financial reporting. Experience in energy, infrastructure or project-based industries is particularly relevant.
The responsibilities will include budgeting, financial forecasting, project financial planning, preparation of monthly financial reports, variance analysis, project-cost monitoring, accounting reconciliations, invoice verification, payment processing, receivables tracking, payroll accounting and statutory compliance relating to GST and TDS.
The position carries consolidated emoluments of ₹80,000 per month.
Legal Officer
One Legal Officer will be engaged. Candidates must have:
- A full-time three-year LL.B. degree or a five-year integrated LL.B. degree with at least 60% marks, or
- An LL.M. degree,
from a government-recognised university or institute.
More than one year of post-qualification experience is required in corporate legal work, contract management or litigation support. Candidates specialising in corporate law, contract law or labour law will be preferred.
The selected candidate may be responsible for drafting and reviewing EPC, O&M, land, consultancy, supply and tender agreements. The role will also involve supporting tenders and project execution, advising on company law, labour law, electricity law and environmental regulations, handling land-related legal matters, coordinating litigation and arbitration, and assisting with legal-risk mitigation.
The monthly consolidated emoluments are ₹60,000.
Contract and Procurement Officer
Two Contract and Procurement Officer positions are available at different experience levels.
Candidates must have either:
- A degree in engineering in any discipline, or
- A commerce degree along with an MBA,
from a government-recognised university or institute. Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM will be preferred.
For the position carrying ₹80,000 per month, candidates must have more than three years of post-qualification experience in procurement and contracting in energy, infrastructure, clean technology or industrial EPC settings.
For the position carrying ₹60,000 per month, more than two years of relevant post-qualification experience is required.
The role may involve developing procurement strategies, preparing RFPs and tender documents, supporting pre-bid meetings and bid evaluations, negotiating contracts, maintaining an approved vendor base, reviewing commercial agreements and ensuring that procurement activities comply with technical, commercial and ESG requirements.
Executive Officer to CEO
OGEL will engage one Executive Officer to the CEO. Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree of at least two years’ duration in any discipline from a government-recognised university or institute.
More than three years of post-qualification experience in data processing in an executive role is required. Experience in report preparation, data visualisation and field supervision will be desirable.
The position will support administrative planning, office and facility setup, preparation of MIS reports, presentations, dashboards and databases. The selected candidate may also coordinate with housekeeping, security, IT, transport providers, vendors, contractors, consultants, local authorities and landlords.
The position carries consolidated emoluments of ₹80,000 per month.
Civil Engineer
One Civil Engineer position is available for candidates holding a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a government-recognised university or institute.
Candidates must have more than three years of post-qualification experience in the execution of civil works for industrial or infrastructure projects. Relevant sectors include:
- CBG and biogas plants.
- Oil and gas facilities.
- Refineries and petrochemical plants.
- Fertiliser and power plants.
- Renewable energy projects.
- Water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Other industrial facilities.
The selected engineer may supervise foundations, buildings, roads, drainage systems, boundary walls and utility structures. Responsibilities will also include quality and safety compliance, contractor coordination, structural inspections, preparation of estimates and tender documents, measurement books, progress reports, technical specifications and contractor-bill certification.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, project-planning tools, relevant IS Codes, CPWD specifications, the National Building Code and industrial safety standards will be advantageous.
The monthly consolidated emoluments are ₹80,000.
Company Secretary
OGEL will recruit one Company Secretary. The candidate must:
- Have passed the CS Final examination conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
- Be an Associate Member of ICSI.
- Possess more than three years of post-qualification experience in company secretarial work.
The selected Company Secretary will assist with compliance under the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI regulations and other statutory requirements. The role may include maintaining statutory registers, making regulatory filings, convening Board, Committee and General Meetings, recording minutes, drafting resolutions and advising management and the Board on governance and compliance matters.
Knowledge of the Companies Act, corporate law and the functions of a Company Secretary under Section 205 will be important.
The position carries consolidated emoluments of ₹80,000 per month.

Reservation for persons with benchmark disabilities and ex-servicemen will be provided in accordance with Government of India guidelines.

Contract Period and Conditions
The engagement may initially be made for a period of three years. It may be extended by up to one year depending on performance and continuing organisational requirements. The contract may also end earlier if the relevant project is completed.
The contract can be terminated by either party by giving 30 days’ notice.
Selected candidates are expected to join immediately. If a candidate does not join on the date fixed by management, an extension of up to 15 days may be allowed after intimation. Failure to join within that period may lead to cancellation of provisional selection.
The engagement is purely contractual and does not provide any right to permanent employment or regularisation in OGEL. Selected candidates may be posted at any location considered appropriate by the competent authority and may be required to work in shifts, at remote installations or on an on-call basis.
Other important conditions include:
- Candidates cannot undertake another assignment during the contract period.
- Accommodation must be arranged by the selected candidate at their own cost.
- Applicable taxes will be borne individually by the selected candidate.
- Selected candidates will be entitled to 20 days of paid leave for each year of contractual engagement.

- Police verification and character-and-antecedents verification are required before engagement.
- No TA, DA or other reimbursement will be paid for attending the interview.
- No reimbursement will be provided for joining.
- Disputes relating to the engagement will fall under the jurisdiction of Saket District Courts.
