Its gives me an immense pleasure to bring to your notice about an important webinar scheduled to take place on March 14 , 2022 ( Monday) at 8:20 P.M 20:20 HRS (IST) onwards on the theme –
“Handling Erroneous Convictions: Learnings from the American Experience”

For the conference following renowned Indian and foreign scholars have consented to speak on the topic!
The eminent speakers are-

3. Prof. Manoj Kumar Sinha
4. Prof. GS Bajpai

The conference will be conducted online under the aegis of the Indian Law Institute , New Delhi.

Further to submit, the entire work is the brain child of Prof.(Dr.) G.K Goswami Sir. Sir, is working throughout day and night to analyse the issue of wrongful conviction based on DNA under the broader theme ‘Innocence Project ‘

The innocence project was first started in the United States of America in 1992 and since then a good number of convicts have been acquitted from the criminal charges which were eventually resulted in their wrongful conviction primarily based on DNA testing.

Furthermore to suggest that the success story of the project including its impactful implementation have been endorsed by many countries such as United Kingdom etc.

In India, Prof ( Dr.) G.K Goswami Sir is doing a commandable work in creating awareness and securing a fair judicial administration through this project. Since, the conference has wide impact on the functioning of the Criminal Justice Administration in India, your participation and action is of utmost importance for us.
