The innocence project was first started in the United States of America in 1992 and since then a good number of convicts have been acquitted from the criminal charges which were eventually resulted in their wrongful conviction primarily based on DNA testing.

Furthermore to suggest that the success story of the project including its impactful implementation have been endorsed by many countries such as United Kingdom etc.
