About National Health Authority

The National Health Authority or the NHA is responsible for implementing India’s flagship public health insurance/assurance scheme Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. NHA has been set up to implement the PM-JAY at the national level.

About the Opportunity

It is proposed to engage Young Professionals at National Health Authority for rendering their services in key domain areas of the schemes run by NHA viz. Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna AB-PMJAY and Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission ABDM.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Position AB-PMJAY
  • Propose a comprehensive metric and measurement system, to gauge the design and implementation of the scheme, as well as empanelment criteria.
  • Responsible for piloting the accreditation process, analysing results, and making recommendations for improvement, based on the results: program
  • Conduct secondary research on health standard models in India and in other countries, for the purposes of developing accreditation standards and measures.
  • Coordinate with the IT team for implementation of various systems and metrics.
  • Ensure and facilitate compliance of hospitals with the accreditation process.
  • Ideate with team members to extract insights and apply them to their roles, where appropriate.
• Positions ABDM
  • Propose a comprehensive metric and measurement system, to gauge the design and implementation of the scheme, as well as empanelment criteria from IT perspective.
  • Responsible for piloting the accreditation process, analysing results, and making recommendations for program improvement, based on the results from IT perspective:
  • Conduct secondary research on health standard models in India and in other countries, for the purposes of developing accreditation standards and measures from IT perspective.
  • Coordinate with the IT team for implementation of various systems tools and metrics.
  • Ensure and facilitate compliance of hospitals with the accreditation process from IT perspective
  • Ideate with team members to extract insights and apply them to their roles, where appropriate.
  • IT Solutions and absorption of Artificial Intelligence models effectively into system for faster delivery and roll out of schemes.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. (Applicants must have a minimum of 55% of overall marks)
• The applicants must have a minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Prior exposure to hospital accreditation, or research in health standards, will be an advantage.
• Desirable:
  • Degree in Engineering, Medicine, Law, Management, Social Work will be preferred;
  • Post Graduate degree is desirable.

Salary

Rs. 75000/- per month inclusive of transportation allowance Will be eligible for annual increment as per NHA policy.
