About the Organization

The Kerala Law Academy Law College (KLA), established in 1966 is a Centre for legal studies, legal research, and law reforms. Its acclaimed peer-reviewed Research Journal is published continuously since 1977. The College, affiliated with the University of Kerala, offers Undergraduate programs in BA LL.B. and B. Com LL.B. five-year integrated courses, LLB Unitary three-year course, and post-Graduate courses of LL.M (Administrative Law), LL.M (International Law) and MBL (Master of Business Law). Its sister concern, CALSAR offers Research Program in Law (Ph.D.).

Criteria

Any degree holder with a minimum of 50% marks can apply.
The MBL Degree Course shall extend to a period of 3 academic years consisting of 6 semesters.
Candidates seeking admission to the First Semester of the MBL Course shall have passed the LL.B 3-year or LL.B 5-year examination of the University of Kerala or of any other University recognized by the Kerala University.
Selection for the course will be made on the basis of interviews and marks secured in the LL.B Examination.
No candidate will be admitted to the MBL degree course unless he/she produces the following documents at the time of admission.
- i. All mark lists of the LL.B degree examination
- Transfer certificate from the institution last studied.
- Conduct and character certificate from the institution last studied.
- Eligibility Certificate: Candidates who have passed the LL.B. Degree Course from any University other than Kerala University shall produce the Eligibility Certificate of the Kerala University at the time of admission.
