About the Organisation

Accords International (AcIn) is the world’s premier organization working in the area of conflict resolution. We are passionate about discovering innovative techniques in mediation and restorative justice for widening their scope as a mechanism of conflict resolution.

AcIn was conceptualized in 2021 with an aim to:

  1. Empower individuals to establish better dispute resolution mechanisms;
  2. Utilise existing techniques in dispute resolution in a more productive way and create new techniques in the area;
  3. Create a pan India network of professionals, academicians, judges, bureaucrats, and students working in the area of conflict resolution and restorative justice &
  4. Synergise the working of alternate dispute resolution mechanisms with courts and the government for faster and optimal results

AcIn organizes a monthly chat with global conflict resolution experts to sensitize the audience about creating innovative techniques for conflict resolution.

About Kathleen Leedy

Kathleen is a bi-coastal mediator trained in Atlanta, GA, Boston & Cape Cod, MA, and Tacoma, WA.  Since 2008 her diverse mediation career has spanned 12 years of mediating over 700 cases in court and private practice with an above 95% settlement rate. She mediates a wide range of cases including small claims, divorce, business, workplace, & family issues, specializing in particularly high conflict mediations. Kathleen completed 13 months as the Courts and Training Coordinator in the Mediation Department at Family Services of Central Massachusetts (FSCM) in Worcester, MA overseeing five area courts, training mediators, and developing programs. She is listed as an Open Meetings Mediator for the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) in Boston, MA.  Recently she successfully advocated and increased an Army soldier’s medical discharge ratings in Ft. Bliss, El Paso, TX.

Kathleen was selected to author one chapter on mediation in a book about divorce titled Worry-Free Divorce: Leading Divorce Professionals Speak.   She teaches “The 40 Hr. Basic Mediation” class at Drake University Law School with Dick Calkins in Des Moines, IA.
