The Centre for Training and Research in Commercial Regulations was established with the view to encourage and promote discussion, training, and research in areas of Commercial Law and allied areas by bringing together academicians, professionals, legal experts, economists, regulators, judges, and students. Our aim is to discuss, debate & spread awareness about contemporary changes & challenges faced by different businesses in the Indian and international Market and to be able to generate literary academia where people from various forums can come together to exhibit their knowledge and expertise and serve as a platform for people from all diverse fields to share their nuances about commercial and regulatory compliance mechanisms and the nitty-gritty associated with them in the legal sphere. 

Event Details:

The training programme has a solemn objective to appraise the law students, lawyers, Company Secretaries, Resolution Professionals, and law teachers about the contemporary challenges faced by Resolution Professionals in the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process. We encourage Resolution Professionals, Official Liquidators, Practicing Lawyers, Law Students and teachers to attend the programme.

The Hybrid Training Programme, in the context of the Indian Bankruptcy Code (IBC) 2016, represents an innovative approach to addressing the challenges and practical implications faced by stakeholders within the insolvency resolution process. This comprehensive training initiative blends traditional classroom-based learning with practical hands-on experience, aiming to equip professionals, such as insolvency professionals, resolution applicants, and legal practitioners, with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the intricacies of the IBC effectively.

Resource persons for the programme include Mr. Rajesh Sheth, a Resolution Professional, Mr. Sumant Batra, an Insolvency Lawyer, and Ms. Dipti Mehta, a Resolution Professional.

Note: All participants will get an e-certificate in the name of Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai.
