About AGISS Research Institute

AGISS Research Institute is an independent, nonpartisan, non-profit public policy organization. Our aim is to conduct High-Quality research so that the Governing bodies can make better decisions and also to work in conjunction with other Organizations on other important issues pertaining to society.

We believe in strengthening Democracy, and Foster Economic & Social Welfare, Security, and Opportunity for all so that we make the world a better place for all of us and the generations to come.

AGISS RESEARCH INSTITUTE as a trust under the Indian Trust Act, 1882. This project of setting up a think tank was undertaken so as to fill the vacuum that has arisen in the field of Law due to limited research by several organizations and with the Guidance of several Retired Justices of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and High Courts of various states and Retd. Members of Tribunals also expressed similar thoughts with regard to the need for good research in several areas pertaining to the legal field.

The Aims and Objectives of the Trust are enshrined in the Trust deed and a bare reading would suffice to enlighten the work areas where the Research Organisation shall be exploring avenues of arising areas in the field of Law.

Apart from the research, the think tank shall also endeavor to provide Certificate Courses on different laws to Academicians, Legal Researchers, Independent Professionals, Lawyers, Officials in Government or Judiciary, Corporate Executives, and other similarly situated people interested in enhancing their knowledge in the field of law.
