- Graduate, preferably B.A. in Social Work/Sociology/Social Sciences or LL.B.; at least 2 years’ experience in the juvenile justice system/children in difficult circumstances.
Role expectations
- Programme Manager/Officer
- Planning and oversight of Mission Vatsalya/child protection interventions; M&E, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with scheme guidelines; digital documentation and MIS upkeep.
- Legal‑cum‑Probation Officer
- Case handling under JJ Act and allied protections; coordination with CWCs/JJ Boards, legal aid, case documentation, and court liaison; advisory on rights, rehabilitation, and statutory procedures.
- Probation Officer/Case Worker/Child Welfare Officer
- Casework with at‑risk children; individual care plans, follow‑ups, family/community liaison, rehabilitation linkages, and statutory reporting to CWCs/JJBs.
