The Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change invites applications for the post of Deputy Legal Adviser and Assistant Legal Adviser on a deputation basis in the Regional Office Headquarters Division of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

Essential Qualification and Experience

Deputy Legal Adviser

Officers of the Central Government or State Government Union Territories or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or Public Sector Undertakings or University or Recognised Research Institution:-

(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis; or

(ii) with five years of regular service in level 11 in the pay matrix or equivalent,

(iII) Degree in law from a recognised University/Institute;

and

(iv) ten years experience in legal matters in Central or State Government or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory or Autonomous Bodies or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions.

Assistant Legal Adviser

Officers of the Central Government or State Government Union Territories or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or Public Sector Undertakings or University or Recognised Research Institution:-

(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis; or

(ii) with five years of regular service in level -10 in pay matrix or equivalent.

(iii) with seven years of regular service in level-7 in the pay matrix or equivalent; and

(iv) Degree in law from a recognised University/Institute; and

(v) five years experience in legal matters in Central or State Government or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory or Autonomous Bodies or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions.
