Eligibility
The candidate must be a fresh law graduate or postgraduate in law from a University, College or Institution established by law in India, with research aptitude and good knowledge of research tools, working knowledge of computers with typing skills, and must be a citizen of India. A candidate appearing for the final semester may also apply, but must submit the final pass-out result before the final selection process, including scrutiny or interview. The honorarium is a fixed Rs. 50,000 per month, without any dearness allowance or other allowance or perquisite.

Eligible candidates must send the duly filled, complete application form so as to reach the Office of Member Secretary, Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, Jaipur, Vidhik Seva Sadan, Rajasthan High Court Campus, C-Scheme, Jaipur – 302005, on or before 31 October 2026, by Speed Post, Registered Post or Courier, or deposit it by hand during office hours. The envelope must be marked “APPLICATION FOR THE LEGAL RESEARCHER”, with only one application form per envelope. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained.
Role and Importance
The Legal Researchers will support the work of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority at its Jaipur and Jodhpur offices, assisting with legal research for the authority’s legal aid and legal services programmes.
