About the Organiser & Event:

Akhil Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad (ABAP) is a Pan India Organisation of Lawyers which is at the forefront of engagement with law and the Indian Judicial System for the sustainable and equitable development of the Nation. It is the largest Lawyers’ Organisation in the country. It is a part of a larger family of patriots who has dedicated themselves to rebuilding our nation.   

Adhivakta Parishad, Delhi High Court Unit last year had Organised its First National Virtual Criminal Moot Court Competition ( from 5th November to 8th November 2020 ) and almost all top law colleges of the country participated in the moot Court Competition like NLU Delhi, NLU Lucknow, Delhi University, Government Law College, Bombay, NLU Tamilnadu, etc.

Last year we had six judges in the semi-final rounds. Hon’ble Ms. Justice Rekha Palli, Judge Delhi High Court, Justice A K Pathak, Former Judge Delhi High Court, and Shri Vikas Pahwa, Senior Advocate adjudicated the First Semi-Final Round while Hon’ble Mr. Justice Naveen Chawla, Judge Delhi High Court Shri Sanjay Jain (ASG) & Mrs. Madhavi Diwan (ASG) adjudicated the Second Semi-Final Round. The final round also had an eminent panel of judges which included Hon’ble Mr. Justice Siddharth Mridul, Judge Delhi High Court, Justice AK Sikri, Former judge Supreme Court, and Shri Mukul Rohatgi, Former Attorney General for India. 

Now Adhivakta Parishad, DHC Unit is Organizing its 2nd National Virtual Criminal Moot Court Competition, 2021, and invites law colleges across the country to participate in it. The last date for submission of Memorials is 3rd October 2021 while the last date for registration is 10th September 2021.

Eligibility:

Each team shall comprise of maximum three (3) and be members-only, consisting of two (2) speakers and one (1) researcher. Participation is restricted to bonafide law students either enrolled in the 3-year L.L.B Law course or the 5-year integrated Law course. Participation is limited to only one team per college or university. 

Location and Timing:

The tentative time slot for the proceedings shall be from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on 12th October to 17th October 2021, and the moot court proceedings shall be conducted via Google Meet.

Registration Procedure:

All interested Law colleges must provisionally register themselves by simply sending an email before 10th September 2021 on adhivaktaparishaddelhi1@gmail.com. Any registration received after 10th September 2021 will not be considered. There is no registration fee.
