Global Advances on Victimology & Psychological Studies is the flagship journal of the Centre for Victimology & Psychological Studies, Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences. It is published twice a year, with each issue curated as a themed dossier on a specific area of both historical and contemporary significance to Victimology & Psychological Studies. We publish peer-reviewed interdisciplinary and critical legal scholarship—with an international focus—by academics and experts in law, victimology, psychology, and allied disciplines.

About Centre for Victimology & Psychological Studies (CVPS)

Centre for Victimology & Psychological Studies (CVPS) was established in 2012 with an aim to generate interdisciplinary and collaborative research on socio-behavioral issues related to family functioning, gender roles, safety, crime, and the criminal justice system. We organize scholarly discussions, seminars, peer educator programs, drug prevention & mental health awareness workshops for students and professionals. We have worked on research projects related to interdisciplinary euthanasia, the death penalty, conflict management, etc. By understanding the psychological, sociological, cultural, and legal aspects of victimology, we propose suggestions for the legislative reforms, recommendations for policymakers and practitioners to assist the victims in the best possible manner.
