This year the World Intellectual Property Day (WIPD) on April 26th has been commemorated, and awareness is raised about the vital role that IP rights play in fostering new ideas and inventive solutions. World Intellectual Property 2022 recognizes the huge potential of young people to find new and better solutions that supports the transition to a sustainable future. Across the globe, young people are stepping up to innovation challenges, using their energy and ingenuity, curiosity, and creativity to steer a course toward a better future. Innovative, energetic, and creative minds are helping to drive the changes we need to move to a more sustainable future. Young people can learn how intellectual property rights can help them achieve their goals, turn ideas into reality, generate income and create jobs. Today’s youngsters represent a tremendously creative and innovative resource that has yet to be fully realized. Rethinking the way things are done is already taking place thanks to their new ideas and “can-do” attitude as well as their desire to see a brighter future.
