The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), Government of NCT of Delhi, has invited applications for 1 post of Assistant Law Officer and 5 posts of Legal Assistant on a deputation basis (including short-term contract). This is a rolling advertisement, and applications received up to 31 October 2026 will be considered in the first phase, applications received up to 15 November 2026 in the second phase, and applications received up to 30 November 2026 in the third phase.

Eligibility
Only officers of the Central Government, State Government, Union Territory administration, recognised research institutes, autonomous bodies, statutory bodies or Public Sector Undertakings are eligible to apply. For the post of Assistant Law Officer (Level 7), the officer must be holding an analogous post on a regular basis, or have five years of regular service in a post in Level 6 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 35,400–1,12,400) or equivalent, and must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised university or institution, with four years’ experience as a legal practitioner or four years’ experience in handling legal work in a government department, PSU, autonomous body or statutory body. For the post of Legal Assistant (Level 6), the officer must be holding an analogous post on a regular basis, or have three years of regular service after appointment to a post in Level 6 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 35,400–1,12,400) or equivalent on a regular basis, and must possess a degree in Law from a recognised university. Selection is by interview.

Role and Importance
The Assistant Law Officer and Legal Assistants support the Delhi Pollution Control Committee’s legal work, handling legal matters for the body that monitors and controls pollution in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
