The High Court of Kerala has invited online applications from qualified Indian citizens for temporary appointment as Research Assistant (on contract basis) in the High Court of Kerala. There are 48 anticipatory vacancies, and the appointment is for one year, extendable to a second year. The honorarium is Rs. 35,000 per month. Eligibility
Graduation in Law is the essential qualification. Final-year/final-semester law students are also eligible to apply, but their applications will be considered only on production of all the certificates and the consolidated mark sheet at the time of certificate verification, prior to the viva voce examination. Candidates possessing degrees not awarded by Universities in Kerala should obtain a certificate of recognition of their degrees from any of the Universities in Kerala and produce it as and when called for. Selection will be on the basis of a written test and/or Scientific/Computer based Test and Viva Voce examination.
How to Apply
Candidates shall apply online only through the recruitment portal of the High Court of Kerala (https://hckrecruitment.keralacourts.in). Candidates must complete ‘One Time Registration’ using the ‘One Time Registration Login’ link, enter the required details in ‘My Profile’, and then apply for the post from ‘Apply Now’ in the Dashboard, following the instructions on the screen. Candidates should read the notification and ‘How to apply’ carefully before submitting the online application and be ready with scanned images of photograph and signature and details of qualification. Once submitted, no changes, editing or modification can be made in the application. The application fee is Rs. 1000, payable online through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking, or through a system generated Fee Payment Challan; Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and unemployed differently abled candidates with benchmark disabilities are exempted from payment of the application fee.
