About Virtual Law School

Virtual Law School (VLS) was founded during the national lockdown in April 2020. Since then VLS has facilitated law classes and critical thinking webinars/workshops for thousands of law students from across the country. VLS promotes easy and affordable access to legal education. Our Pro Bono Law Teachers and resource persons include Former Judges of the Supreme Court & High Courts, Senior Lawyers, Senior Law Professors, Vice-Chancellors, Registrars of NLUs, well-accomplished law scholars, foreign judges and professors, law firm and corporate professionals, and civil society subject experts. VLS works on a unique concept of donating pro bono teaching hours. Hence, all our resource persons teach on a pro bono basis. And VLS is registered as a not-for-profit organization under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013.

About the Event

VLS invites you to join a FREE Workshop on “Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC) for Beginners”. The workshop aims at encouraging young law scholars and practitioners to explore IBC for legal research as well as legal practice. This is relatively new legislation and is often considered to be quite complex. This workshop will demystify the thoughts that it is very difficult to comprehend IBC. Our resource person will share tips and tricks on conceptual clarity, basic readings, how IBC related work can be pursued during internships and how law practitioners can develop careers in IBC.
